Sisterhood and Service Since 1965
On July 10, 1965, at 4:00 p.m., 330 Auburn Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, nineteen (19) diligent ladies gathered together with the late Imperial Commandress, Dt. Anita G. Adams, Tuskegee, Alabama, and others from her Divan, to reactivate Nabbar Court #123. Thus, Nabbar Court #123 was on its way on a journey in history. As we look back down memory lane, our chartered members’ names ring out loud.
Our chartered members were: Daughters Julia K. Neal, Mattie B. Acey, Florence M. Hogan, Bessie Collier, Tyree J. Walters, Bunnie Richardson, Margaret D. Bowen, Lucy V. Johnson, Ophelia Brooks, Malissa Johnson, Harriett Martin, Jesse Broadnax, Salome Berry, Annie Calloway, Lilla Finch, Florine Furlow, Petronia Broome, Annette Phinazee, and Pheobia Hart. Daughters of great distinction who worked hard to achieve and build Nabbar Court #123.
